I get the message on a regular basis even though my browser is set to clear the cache when I quit. I just click on the login button and everything is fine. I concluded that it's an overzealous gremlin that can't keep up with modern technology.

Search this forum, you'll see a number of things like users being logged in as various bots, mentions of George, et al.

Moving to Mozillazine Site Discussion

When I opened the newly updated FF (76.0.1) this morning, I was unpleasantly greeted with:

"You have been banned from this board until February 28th, 2021, 11:00 pm.
If you believe this is an error, please try closing your browser and clearing your cache.
If you still have an issue, and believe it's an error, put the word "anything" in the Search Boards text box and click on GO. Click on any result and then click on Board Index. The problem should go away.
A ban has been issued on your IP address."

However, ignoring this scary message, I signed in anyway and got onto the board. I know of no known reason why I should have been banned, and all seems to be alright, but I'd appreciate knowing what's happening. Thanks.
