For what it may be worth that did happen. I posted an "answer" then realised I was replying to the wrong question. Didn't know that a message was to be sent. I thought I would be the only one who knew I was a bonehead...(grin)

Usually not posting as a Guest. See above.

Ahh, That would explain it. I forgot about that ability.

Thanks,

Wildmyron.

Perhaps the post got deleted by the poster before you got a chance to check it?

Email notification of post which does not exist

I have just received a Topic Reply Notification for a topic that doesn't appear to have received any replies. The link in the email returns "The topic or post you requested does not exist". Relevant info from the email:

---
Subject: Topic Reply Notification - how to move over saved password information

Link to post: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... 60#2088260

Link to unwatch: http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... atch=topic
---

The actual topic is http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=381310

I understand that posts don't get deleted, they get locked, so what else might have happened to this post if it did exist?
