Remote Hosting
If you use a remote host for your avatar, please use a host that can handle it being downloaded hundreds or thousands of times a day. Also, make sure your avatar host knows this and that it won't be a problem. We do offer on-site avatar hosting. Avatars that load slowly will be removed.

Size
Avatars larger than 100 pixels by 100 pixels, and/or 13KB are not allowed. Avatars over these sizes will be removed.

Do not spoof or post misleading text in your avatar, or it will be removed.

Use proper judgement when choosing an avatar. We like to promote a family atmosphere, and avatars that disrupt this will be removed.

Images
Do not use images in your signature, they distract from the main content of a post.

Do not use color in your signature, it is a distraction.

Length
Keep your signature to no more than three lines. We know this depends on the size of someone's monitor, so if it's more than three lines on kerz's monitor, it'll get removed :).
