What sort of man would put a known criminal in charge of a major branch of government? Apart from, say, the average voter.

It would be nice if every single thread he was involved in didn't devolve into accusations of persecution... which mostly appears to stem from the fact that he takes any kind of correction or advice as personally offensive. Which is getting to be rather annoying.
