You really ARE fast. The next one (from maybe a minute ago) disappeared before I even got here. You're just too good. I give up.

You reckon I'm fast...........Just wait till our "SpeedieD" gets here.
(1.5? (I think), Meg connection & in the same country.....Me, "I'm way down south in Dixie", & on a reasonably fast 512.) :)
We do sometimes, "trip over" each other.

I just don't like that stuff clogging the fora.

Officially i have a 16 MB line. In fact i get about 14 MB. Thinking about installing a 50 MB VDSL which is available here.

Geez trolly.
We're hoping the new optical fibre cables the Govt. is laying will improve things but not sure
of the specs. (Poss 100 Meg?)
Might have to try removing the knots/kinks in my rats nest of cables.

:-)

I'm hoping the 30MBps lasts. This is really nice and I'm getting spoiled. The local telco DSL provider is now advertising the "fastest speeds in town" at 18MBps. Now, it is faster than the cable company's advertised speed, but far lower than the actual speed. When the guy came to my door to try to sell me the new telco service, I just laughed. ;-)

Similar to Daifne, here, officially 10 but often hitting 30 of late, and have almost punched through the big FOUR OH on a couple occasions. Not sure why that is, not complaining, but...well, I guess we've had this conversation before. Fun to compare though.

My feeling exactly. It's been at least a few months now, knock on wood and all that for luck.

Hopefully Dan, I'll be able to repair them quicker (before anyone notices them) too. :)

Sadly, it's a few years away yet. Image

There have always been ghosts in the machine... random segments of code that have grouped together to form unexpected protocols. Unanticipated, these free radicals engender questions of free will, creativity, and even the nature of what we might call the soul...
