Looks like there was only one minor search fix.

"Fixed "search by author" in search.php. Now it is possible to search for users with special chars in their name too"

Sigh, that's a warning for you. I beg of you to do it again so I can just ban you.

Am I doing something wrong? When I check on responses to my posts from the email link I am not automatically signed in. Then when I sign in, I have to find the post I was in again. Why can't it just take me back to my post? Every time I check in, Yes I do check the Automatically log me in box.

Thank you. I added mozillazine.org to Tools, Options, Privacy, Cookies, Exceptions Allow and now it works.

Thanks again

Seems to be OK.

Too Many Post Subjects All Forums

I'm sure there is a way to manage forum topics better than what's here. There are just too many forum topics in all categories to browse through, so the tendency is just to create another, which is going to get your organization nowhere when trying to find real bug problems with your applications.

Forum topics need management in which users cannot create topics at the root level of Firefox, for example, that are entitled something frivolous like "Help!". That is totally useless to users and to Mozilla. Force users down a few levels before allowing them to create topics. For example, Firefox Support should be broken down into functional categories before users can create topics.

I have a bug to report for Firefox but I find this forum useless in (a) trying to locate if anyone else has issued a similar report, and in (b) creating a report that may be noticed by your organization. Search facilities don't always pick up what's necessary and they should not be relied upon 100 percent of the time.

Well, I'd suggest either fixing the EMail Notification Of Replies feature, or just switch over to vBulletin.

That's why I'm reluctunt to post any issues problems I may have with Firefox and Thunderbird in here...I'm not getting email notifications.

date/time format, some other ideas

What's up with this funky e123weekday... stuff for when a post was made? What does it mean, how do I translate it? aside from the day of the week, it makes no sense at all.

Also, I agree with bzag00. We REALLY need some subcategories in the support forums. One of which should be for newbies/beginners, and new users are restricted to this forum for their first few posts, or until they learn the basics of forum etiquette (most importantly to look for a solution before screaming for help).

How about adding in functionality for reporting obnoxious users, or at least to ignore all their posts.

i'm probably not in the right place, i'm trying to find anyone who can help me. i just recently installed the firefox browser. i was using microsoft explorer. i know this is awfully silly to ask- but do i uninstall microsoft explorer? i noticed that when i access my hotmail, the browser bar still shows 'explorer'. i know it would only make sense to delete a browser you no longer wish to use...but i have deleted important things before!! can anyone help me??
