I wanted to make mention of something.

I just started using gmail. As you probably know the gmail inbox has tabs with different category labels. Coming from Yahoo I never saw this before. I thought all my emails would be in the primary tab, and the other tabs were used to sort them.

I just assumed that the activation email would be in my primary inbox tab, so when I didn't find it there or in the spam box I came back here to report.

Turns out it was in my "Updates" tab. Why it was filtered in that particular direction? Dunno, but I need to find out for future reference.

Hope this little bit of info will help you guys out.

That might have been a tie with someone else. When I saw the account today it was listed as "deactivated"

I tried to register as KSDeputy. I NEVER got the e-mail that I click on to complete the registration, therefore I cannot sign in or do anything else. I need help in learning out how to merge bookmark lists. I have a regular bookmark list, then I have unsorted bookmarks. I need to merge these as when I do a search it only searches the main bookmark list.

Please disregard my previous message about the registration e-mail. It was in the trash bin for some strange reason, I clicked on it and seem to be working now. I still do not know how to merge the two bookmark lists, however. Thanks.

when trying to reply to viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2944961 earlier today,
seems that forum does not allow to post as guest, hence I registered today as doktor5000

For completeness sake, that's the same nick I used some years back when posting as guest

When visiting the activation link that results in
"The activation key you supplied does not match any in the database."

Trying to resend the activation mail results in
"Your account has been manually deactivated and is only able to be reactivated by an administrator."

Trying to login results in
"The specified username is currently inactive. If you have problems activating your account, please contact a board administrator."

So I'm currently at a loss on how to proceed further ...
