Different perp but been here before and banned.
What sort of man would put a known criminal in charge of a major branch of government? Apart from, say, the average voter.

Even with the limited number of posts arising from 'user does not exist', there are other indicators in terms of phrasing, etc. It's like a written fingerprint.

Posts still showing under post history which is, er, unusual for a banned user?

Frank, as far as I can tell, that's normal. We can delete the posts, which is something we normally don't do, but maybe I am missing something in the banning procedures of the forum software to make the posts hide. I've been away from the forum and don't remember some of the admin controls, so that is a possibility.

Me no expert on this stuff, but the actual posts stay where they already are, but the user posting history will look like this (and give no access to past posts) - http://forums.mozillazine.org/memberlis ... &u=2643263

I suspect if the post history is showing then the perp can continue to post, i.e. they are not banned from doing so.
