I agree with you, rants have no place in Firefox Support or some guy's extension support thread.

These guys are fools to themselves, if they ranted in Firefox General or Builds, then so long as they adhere to other rules, it's hard to justify stopping them. As it is, then bang on in Support and rightly get whacked and their stuff moved to Locked.

Either way, the mods will take care of it, but I figure it is useful for people here to realise that there is some sort of logic behind it all.

http://downdetector.com/status/level3/map/
*** CASCADED EXTERNAL NOTES 02-Oct-2017 18:38:38 GMT From
CASE: 13444839 - Event *Event Conclusion Summary* First Outage Start: September 27, 2017 12:00 GMT First Outage
Stop: September 27, 2017 18:37 GMT
Second Outage Start: October 2, 2017
15:00 GMT Second Outage Stop: October 2,
2017 17:19 GMT

Root Cause: Latency and packet on network links were
impacting IP services.

Fix Action:
Adjustments were applied which resolved congestion on the links and
restored IP services to a stable state the first time. A protocol was also
disabled to restore services the second time and prevent future issues.

Reason for Outage (RFO) Summary: The Technical Service Center began receiving
reports from clients indicating latency and packet loss on circuits in the
Tampa, FL market. This was correlated to a higher-level issue occurring in the
network and it was identified that additional markets were impacted, including
New York, NY, Cincinnati, OH and Chicago, IL. The IP NOC was engaged and
quickly identified that congestion on the network links was the source of the
issue. The IP Operations Engineering team was engaged to assist with resolving
the issue. Adjustments were applied thus
resolving the congestion issue and restoring services to a stable state at
18:37 GMT. Days later, the impact returned. The IP NOC confirmed an increase
and traffic had returned and worked to isolate the source. The IP NOC disabled
a multi-casting protocol for specific sources in Tampa, FL and Columbus, OH. This
was successful in lessening traffic on the impacted links and restoring
services. The IP NOC also advised this should prevent future issues from
occurring. The Technical Service Center confirmed restoral with clients.
still pending, i have traced issues from seattle3.level3.net up to nero.net to MZ.

hello and back from sleep. merging, maybe, your choice.
he got code, moved bars, but not the right bar, moved back (image from last question looked regular for me).
smsmith seems capable to solve this puzzle.

his answers are "extraordinary" for me... ah ic
ed: i am doing this on 3 different PCs so i am confusing you guys and myself.
not sure - is he using the same profile for firefox and waterfox?
waterfox has announced to put its profile to another place.

no merging seems no solution right now as the question has become a life now.
sorry for speaking up, "loud" thinking helps sometimes.

waterfox 55.2 uses its own profile now
https://www.waterfoxproject.org/blog/wa ... e-download

but he is still using 55.1 so i think he will mess up the used profile for firefox.
there are differences and those causes problems.
