Loosing Log In Status (Login Logout Logged)

Loosing Log In Status (Login Logout Logged).

I log in manually when I come here.
Once logged in, I remain so till I close Mozilla.

Or at least that is the way it used to be.
That has now changed.
I'll have logged in, posted some replies or whatever.

Then at some point, it could have been after being away from the computer for a period of time (?), I'll realise that I am no longer logged in.

This change seems to have coincided with a change in my router.

Could it be, if my computer is idle for a period of time, says 30 minutes, that after that lul, when I come back to my computer, that my router is pulling a new IP address. And MozillaZine is seeing that change & by default logs me out?

EDIT: Still open to suggestions on this.

That "lul" I spoke of, does not seem to necessarily be the case.

That may be so.

But then that brings up the question, what is stored in the cookies & how is it used?
Is your IP stored there?

I can be logged in, as I am now.
Then log into my router.
Disconnect (through my router), then reconnect a moment (minute or so) later - at which time I'll have a new IP.

At that point, I am no longer logged into mozillaZine.

Did something "physically" happen to my cookie - damaged?
I would think not.

Not sure if this is relevant or not?
What is that odd “__utmz” cookie?
