Login permanence issue?
I know I'm having some weird connection issues on my end the last day, but also on this website (and none others that I'm using) it will log itself out while I'm using it. As in I'll open a link to a new thread and then I'll have to login again to comment.
Tip of the day: If it has "toolbar" in the name, it's crap.

Your IP address may have changed between posts, the session seems to be tied to that (or the cookie expired, but those should hold at least for the current browser session, depending on your settings).

Re: Login permanence issue?
Interesting. Maybe the router connection issues are messing with the IP.

Now happening on the work machine which is also having connection issues. (Everyone in Asheville must have decided to spend this weekend curled around the computer screen).

I always delete cache and cookies on exit. But this happens in the middle of a session. Logged in, commenting... then suddenly logged out and have to log in again.

Re: Login permanence issue?
I see your IP address changing between viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2706389&p=13865159#p13865159 (which uses your current IP address) and viewtopic.php?f=23&t=2886617&p=13865027#p13865027 (which comes from an entirely different block), if that's the time frame you are talking about. If it happened after that, it can't be a changing IP address triggering this.

Yeah, that's two different machines, in different buildings. Is it possible that the login creditials are being lost somehow? Never had this issue until this update... but also don't usually have buggy interrupted service either.

Re: Login permanence issue?
The only other explanation I could offer is that the login cookies keeping track of your credentials expired, thus triggering a re-authorization. However, that shouldn't be related to any network issues or upgrades (unless any defaults changed, but then more users should see this).
