Well, I'm proudly flashing my SeaMonkey UA as well, so that alone isn't a violation of any rules (name calling of a person or group on the other hand is).

I don't recall SM users staring threads on another forum insulting this forum's users and particularly the Mods who run it...
@Following your logic 'Mozillan' is clearly name calling.. In the light of recent events I sure find it offensive..

No, that was more a general comment. I've removed those two posts from the thread in question to avoid yet another PM-bashing cycle with comments borderline to the cited rule.

I'd generally agree. Malliz pointed another user towards the PM forum in another 3rd party build thread which is fair enough. In fact, I'd personally encourage them to be re-directed there as it's probably better all round.

I think in this case it might have ended up here due to it being more of a question about the Firefox add-on page than anything else. Probably should have been originally asked in the PM forum though to start with though.

@mightyglydd: Out of interest, do you think anyone has ever decided to change the browser they use just because they saw someone's UA string here? If someone posts an insulting post here (regardless of what browser they're using or which folder they're in), the mods should absolutely deal with it (and they do). I just don't understand why you get so hung up on seeing different UA strings here. Really, nobody cares about them.

Taking the sum of comments here and in the PaleMoon forums, neither side has behaved exemplary in my view. Thus, let's stop here before we have yet another split into the dungeon.

Reply to an old (2010) thread, split to new thread in SeaMonkey Support?

This appears to be a Standards/Web Dev issue:

Two different threads about the same PayPal issue.
viewtopic.php?f=38&t=2847707 and viewtopic.php?f=38&t=2847617

One should be locked, IMO.

Locked the more recent one which he apparently opened after not being happy about the responses in his first thread (same OP, same topic).
