PHP 4.4 and MediaWiki 1.6.8 are far too old. They could easily be hacked. Also, you guys are missing out on a lot of awesome new features in both MediaWiki and PHP since those versions came out. I highly suggest just updating everything.

Thanks but the version of the forum software is determined by the owner/administrator of the forums and he'll address any updates when he feels it is appropriate and feasible.

Dear Dan Raisch
Today you gave a list of programs to get rid of malware in connection with subject.
In addition to the popup message with a very legit looking Mozilla icon, I had 5 minutes before responded to the IDENTICAL message with a very legit looking windows explorer icon and unwittingly downloaded the associated malware..which is why I registered here to get your list! This must be a very crafty outfit; I'm wondering how mal this ware is!

Perhaps you posted to the wrong thread as this one has nothing to do with malware.

I never said forum software. I said "wiki software and PHP".

What do you think the forum software is if not phpBB?
