Won't login automatically and it was checked

The site will not login automatically on each visit, despite my checking the
option to do so. And yes, I have cleared the cookies. Using Mozilla Firefox 47
Please check and see what is going on here. Thank you

A) To what site are you referring, MozillaZine?
B) You cleared cookies but did you clear the cache?
C) Under menu path Tools->Options->Security->do you have "Remember logins for sites" checked?

A): It is for this site: http://forums.mozillazine.org

B): Yes, the cache is set to clear when I close Firefox

C): Yes, that option is selected in Firefox

No, but I just went in and redeleted all cookies relating to mozillazine.org ... logged out and back in
So far, so good, will know for sure by tomorrow.
