Lost password/inactive email

Hi,

Sorry to be a pain, but I have a problem. My username is iancol and my old email address was an @tiscali address which is no longer supported and I can't receive mail from that address now. How can I reset? I'm "calling" from a new registered address but would like to get back to the original, at which point I could cancel this one.

Not too sure I understand your message.
I checked "iancol" & your email addy comes back as ian.pxxxxxxxxx-at-gmail.com
&, this is still active.
Have you tried changing it in your UCP at the top RHS? (User Control Panel.)

NB: Your @tiscali addy was changed on Tue 10th Apr 2012 03:52:50 am to @gmail.com
&, Your PW was changed on 2 occasions...

Hi Limpet,

It's a long story, caused by the @tiscali issue and relying on a password manager. For some reason I was unable to make the earlier password changes stick.
Still, I've just reset the password on the original using the correct email address and it works fine again. Sorry for the waste of time/effort. Are you able to kill this new iancollII account?

Hi Ian,
We don't actually delete Accounts but I will de-activate it.

&, I'm glad that you were able to rectify things.
I'll lock this to stop any spam being added.
