Security Question wrong upon setup new Firefox support acct.

Post by jphovan »

Hello!

As funny as it sounds, the security question for setting up the Firefox Support Account asked me:

"How many letters are in Mozilla?"
M
O
Z
I
L
L
A

Total should be 7 (seven!!!)

But entering this, you get an error message (seriously). So I tried the number "6" (six!) just to see if my ADD was the culprit and Bingo, I am not to blame. How can this be changed to 7 (seven) ?!

Thanks!

Well sure if you count L twice then it is 7.

M o z i l a = 6 as it was about unique total and not the combined total as you only assumed.

This has been brought up a few times before since the Admin/Owner of this independent forum changed it from the random captcha to what it is now.

^Have you ever wondered how many potential new members don't want to play silly buggers and just go somewhere else?
Your response is pathetic, how about getting hold of kerz and DOING SOMETHING about it, how about updating the bug ridden software too?
If he's too busy at Google working on rigging elections then he should bug out.
Mozilla = 6/7 or WTF is a BIG MISTAKE and I reckon it's killing this place. (Which of course may be a Google employee's aim)
Currently there are THREE members online....not a businessman are you.

You said it mightyglydd the secret powers running the once great USA now a corporate enemy to the rest of the world glad I'm now living in a free country!

Seriously I think it's an asinine second - guess question of truly dubious nature since not only robots are excluded but also persons with high IQs (not bragging lol).

Keep it simple stupid!

Btw the mozillaZine forums is Not just for desktop Firefox as you can see in the Index of http://forums.mozillazine.org

Mozilla has their own community support forum (newer compared to here) that is also not just for desktop Firefox.
