Well, you could try reading this thread that you're posting in or something extreme like that.

Failing that, look at the top of any forum here, i.e. http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewforum.php?f=7 and you'll see this thread isn't in a forum at all, but an Announcement thread that is shown at the head of every forum here.

Originally it was an important thread, but now it's people giving embroidery tips or making 'I'm here, I exist' posts or, of course, 'What IS the purpose of this forum?' posts. All of which have to be read by everyone, in the remote chance that the new posts here contain something useful or informational to the subject of the thread.

That's not happened for a while now.

May I suggest that all comments are kept "On Topic" please.
