As you have already been told, we don't delete accounts. In too many cases that would cause gaps in threads where others had replied to topics originally created by the account holder or where that account holder had replied to posts by others. That's been the case for years as you were previously advised.

Sorry to be blunt but, TBH I don't really care what your policy was/is because I don't consider myself part of this community but others who are should/will
Inline with [GDPR], any data you decide to keep you should be using pseudonymization or full anonymization, which would solve your use case(s)
Please action my request to the best of your ability
Sincerely

Non of your legalise applies to these forums as they are run and operated in the US not the EU. What you fail to realise is nobody would have even cared about you or your posts If you hadn't made a song and dance so you Lewis are your own worst enemy. Maybe clean up the rest of your online persona first

You had your "resolution" a polite negative you chose to ignore that Lewis and continued on thus opening yourself up to ridicule and a wider audienceldexterldesign wrote:Hi DanRaisch,

FYI
A court has no formal power outside its jurisdiction; a European court judgment (which is what happens if a company violates EU rules) can't be directly enforced in the US, because US law enforcement doesn't obey the orders of European courts

Re: Delete/erase/remove account - forums.mozillazine.org
As said the *mozillaZine.org site is independently owned and run by a single person based in the US (California) and the server the site is on is in US also being at the Open Source Lab at Oregon State University. http://www.mozillazine.org/about/
The site does not do sale of goods/services and is not really a company as there is only one staff member, the owner/admin (kerz) as everybody else are volunteers.

Hi James,
Thanks for reply
Yes, I'm (now) aware of your situation (i.e. mozillazine.org)
Will you action my request to the best of your ability or not (I can live with deactivation etc.)?:
* If yes then thank you
* If no then congratulations on fostering the antithesis of Mozilla (i.e. an organisation who supposedly cares about and stands for privacy) and harbouring such hostile community members
Sincerely
