Annoyed rant about mozillazine registration

I just spent 10 minutes trying to register for this forum, which required switching to a different browser after I made too many attempts on the first go-round and got locked out until "later" (not sure if "later" is 10 minutes, 10 hours, or after the known universe experiences heat death a few billion years from now).

The validation question asks how many letters are in "Mozilla." There are seven, but the question should have been "how many UNIQUE letters are in Mozilla?" A: 6.

In a Google search for "how to create new Mozilla account," I finally discovered the secret. And since the problem was reported AT LEAST TWO YEARS AGO, any reason why it hasn't it been fixed?

(However, if this is an attempt to discourage new forum members, it definitely works.)

This site does not use any *.mozilla.org accounts nor uses the Firefox Account system as this is obviously not a Mozilla site as there are no mozilla.org links on top and or bottom like a typical *.mozilla.org page. http://www.mozillazine.org/about/

In your searches for Mozilla account you likely discovered Mozilla's own support forum (newer compared to here) at support.mozilla.org

The single owner/admin is busy with life and his job at Google as he even posted the announcement the forum could close at some point so he has yet to bother to change the wording. It used to be a random captcha but of course we got complaints from people who could not always read them.
