FYI Trying to register on https://forums.mozillazine.org gives error "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again. The confirmation code you entered was incorrect." although I am sure I entered the code correctly.
Registering on http:// worked; but maybe the registration form itself should point to http? It was just by luck that I read a post in this section that advises to try http for an unrelated issue (login not sitcky).

I've been banging my head trying to log in. UGH. There should be a warning on the login page about https. Kept getting bad credentials.
