No reply to replies?

Post by johann_p »

Am I missing something here or is it no longer possible to reply to individual replies? I think that was
a great feature in the old forums, since discussion often had drifting topics or a reply to a specific
detail wouldnt make sense at the end of the reply list.
So is this really not psosible or do I just not find the right button?

I know it exists - but I was referring to the possibility to have replies to replies near the original article.
Otherwise you will get confused if replying to old replies even when using the quote button - especially
if the list of replies is already very long or must be scrolled through.
So I guess your answer indicates, this is really not possible ... :/

No, only moderators can split threads. :(
That's about the only disadvantage though :)

I think Johann_P is asking for threading capability. I really miss that too. It makes things so much clearer.

Petition phpBB to support threads, nothing we can do, we like phpBB.

Thread closed, move along.
