Just curious, in the Camino change log for 11/24, it says "add "Empty Cache" item to camino menu that just empties the cache, nothing more."

I'm not seeing this in the 11/30 nightly... Where is it?

It's under the Camino menu on the nightly I downloaded for the 30th. Right under "Reset Camino".

Which specific issue is that fix for? And is there any news on the font setting issue? Namely, setting fonts for CJK languages basically has zero effect?

Ya, I checked there, but nothing exists for me... Odd. Just tried a new profile as well, but still nothing

Here is what mine looks like: [EDIT: Link taken down]

As a side note, I do have the new security icon in the URL bar, and the Add in Tabs in the bookmark folders, which were other recently added features

Howdy,

I think there were two versions on 11/30. You might have the earlier one. I've got the additional menu option and all the other goodies. Runs fast too.

Now for Spell Checks, Form Autofill, etc., etc., etc. It just get s better and better.

Good Luck,

I thought this might be the case too, but... I tried redownloading it, launched it from the .dmg and the option was there. Copied it to my apps folder, still there. Installed an icon set with Caminicon, the option was gone. Caminicon seems to get rid of it... What kind of bug is that?

It might be possible that Caminicon is copying an old .nib into your application package. Caminicon hasn't been updated for a long long long long long time so I wouldn't trust to much if I where you. Ask the developer to do so.

Actually, it only happens when I install a custom theme that I pieced together on my own (Default 0.8+ resources folder + certain files that I replaced (those being back, forward, reload, stop, folder, smallbookmark, globe_ico, dl_manager, manager, and the throbber)). But if I install a regular theme from Reinhold Penner, there's no problem. I have no idea what is happening here...

If I reinstall a Penner theme after my custom theme, the option does not reappear either.

UPDATE: Duh, that was idiotic of me. It's because I was using the entire resource folder of a pre-11/24 build for my custom themes. Penner themes didn't replace everything like my custom themes. Modified my custom themes to only include the stuff I want replaced, and problem solved. Sorry for the stupid problem.

i hope the text lag bug is fixed. I normally have 10+ tabs open on a forum and with camino hitting 40%+ CPU time, i find this to be a common occurence:

Me: typing a long sentence like this one for example. not too long but apparently long enough.
Camino: looks on
Me: finish typing
Camino: starts displaying what i'm typing one letter per half second
Me: about to hit submit button
Camino: finishes first word
Me: goes and does something away from computer
*5 minutes later*
Camino: done.

This doesn't happen with Firefox nor Safari.

I have seen this too. Maybe it is connected with the slow flash playback and the really slow javacsript benchjs test?

I for one have never seen this happen ever while using Camino. Could somebody try and pin this down? I can imagine how irritating this could be.

I'm on a G3 500 if that matters. I'm having to relegate Camino to 3rd after Firefox and Safari simply because of that bug.
