Where has 2.1b2 gone?

Post by dryeburn »

My copy is over two weeks old, Camino 2.1b2 1.9.2.22pre 20110810001907, so I went and looked. I can't find 2.1b2 at all, just 2.1b1. I poked around the Mozilla FTP site unsuccessfully.

Your 2.1b2 1.9.2.22pre is a nightly build (it ought to say '2.1b2pre' in the about box). So far, there haven't been any 2.1b2 released.

You always can get the latest nightly here:
http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/ ... .1-M1.9.2/

Yes, I'm aware of both those things. But I usually use Fetch to get a copy of a nightly at the Mozilla FTP site. I went there a few hours ago and what was in the latest-2.1-M1.9.2 folder was a July 25 version, a lot older than the August 10 version I've been using. I looked again just now and an August 25 version is now there. So I guess someone just goofed, but later fixed it. I'll download the August 25 version.
