Hi,
I have just been reading about the various security holes that have been found in Mozilla.
http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/55/27934.html
it says "Versions of Mozilla previous to version 1.0.1 contain multiple security vulnerabilities"
If I am not mistaken Chimera is built from version 1.0 of mozilla. (http://chimera.mozdev.org/ "The Chimera tree is a branch of the Mozilla 1.0 release branch")
So does that mean that Chimera is vulnerable also ?
thanks

not to worry
I'm pretty sure Chimera is based on 1.0.1. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Who's spreading all this FUD anyway? Those security bugs are ancient history.

Not necessarily. Even if it's "a branch of the 1.0 branch" this doesn't mean that you can't apply some selected patches to your code, like to fix security bugs for example. Only the Chimera people can tell you. Ask them.
