Bookmark trouble

Recently Camino stopped allowing me to bookmark sites. When I give it the bookmark command the drop-down menu appears asking where to save the URL; I hit return and nothing happens. The URL does not show up in either the bookmark bar or in the menu. I really like this browser and would prefer not to have to migrate to another one. Thanks...
