Changing autocomplete behavior

Post by YB. »

I can find instructions for changing the autocomplet behavior for the address line for FireFox but not for Camino.

I would like to eliminate the auto fill feature in the address line so it does not remember or show addresses when I type.

Any Ideas?

You mean turn autocomplete off entirely? If so, you use the same browser.urlbar.autocomplete.enabled hidden preference as in Firefox (it's rarely asked for, which is why it is not listed on Camino's Hidden Preferences page).

If you want Camino not to remember the addresses of any pages you've visited, however, you need to set the "Page History: Remember visited pages for [____] days" preference (in the History preference pane) to 0 days.
