There's a script somewhere in there that really really really doesn't like older Gecko browsers. There are two solutions:

1) Turn off Javascript.
2) Figure out specifically which host is serving the offending script and block that in your hosts file.

Well, there's sort of a third: don't use Yahoo Finance, and use Google Finance instead. ;)

By the way, this isn't just a Yahoo Finance problem; it applies to pretty much all Yahoo properties including the home page. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=826800 and https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=825372 .

While surfing finance.yahoo.com I got this error message:

A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will complete.
