Automatic download of like.php

Post by Gena-Left »

I just checked my Downloads window and found out Camino has downloaded three instances of a 0 byte like.php file from Facebook. I don't use Facebook, but the Source URL refers to a site that I reload at an interval of three minutes, which appears to be the download interval as well. Should I be concerned about this, and furthermore, since Camino has not been updated in almost a year, can it still be considered a secure browser?

I much prefer this browser to any other and would like to continue using it, and hope its development has not altogether been discontinued.

This happens every so often when I run into really heavy network loads; I think it's triggered by some script on Facebook's end failing to properly recognize that the network connection is working. It's not anything to worry about, at any rate.
