I second the motion.

I'm back to Camino as my default web browser.

I was impressed with Chrome when it came out (never Safari), but I've grown disillusioned. First, it's bulkier than hell, uses a ton of CPU power. Second, it's not that fast. Third, the only feature I use that's not available on Camino is auto-translation, and I can use Google Translate for most of that. Fourth, who the hell knows what Google's doing with all our personal information conveyed by collection our browsing and downloading histories, among other spy devices?

If I need a Chrome feature, I can churn it up easily enough. But for speed and more accurate renditions of graphics and text, Camino is still the champ. I hope someone picks it up and runs with it again. There's always a market for lightweight applications that more easily and quickly do what the heavyweights take forever to do.

Camino is dead, long live Camino!
