Don't use your page (or directory) as storage for remote loading; ie., using PWP to load your images from another domain name and/or URL not originating from PWP.
Do not develop Web pages that consist of hyperlinks to content which resides on our servers and which is not allowed on PWP;
I don't know what that means. You should be able to upload whatever you want to your web storage. Try uploading an xpi and post a link to it here so we can test it!
If this is really from Lynch's ISP, then it might be against their AUP to use personal web pages for links from outside his ISP (eg, image links). Hence, it might not be a good idea if he were to violate their terms; he could end up losing his broadband account.
I'd offer Lynch space at one of my two domains, but my ISP is in the midst of transition from AT&T to Comcast, and their rules right now are in a state of flux.

chrookee, if there is more interest in this, I will make this my next project.
Someone, over at another forum, requested a "Redhat" Phoenix theme, so I'm not sure which to start on

This seems like a stupid set of terms. What good is webspace if you can't link your files from elsewhere? I swear, eventually ISPs are going to have terms of service that say "You may not use this connection for anything other than viewing webpages and reading email." Of course some probably already do.
Yeah. But I don't use their Personal Web Pages; I instead run a web server for two virtual domains.
As far as the merger goes, I'm still waiting for the dust to settle. There are many worries about what will happen and/or change, and nothing of any assurance from the Comcast or ATT people. [sigh]

Yup you can.
Just download a webserver (i use apache -- http://www.apache.org) and host your files.
The only problem is that your IP is not static, but it shouldn't change unless you reset your cable modem (turn it off and on).
You can find out your IP by doing an "ipconfig" at the dos prompt.

hmmm maybe i should have looked into this before hosting my own.... my traffic volume is small enough where i doubt they'd notice, but hosting something as frequently downloaded as lynch's themes would be something you'd have to look into with your isp, i'm thinking.
I've got Netfirms hosting my images and they offer 25MB of diskspace and 1GB monthly of transfer - but they keep shuttiing down the service for 24 hrs. because they say that I had 683 visitors one day and I keep going over the daily limit - whatever that means. It says monthly transfer - nothing is mentioned for daily.
Anyway, about the theme - should we go larger from this point or smaller?
