I'm seriously thinking about building this into my themes because this whole Personas mess has me so mad. I get angry emails and bad reviews on AMO about Personas already and 3.6 is not even Public yet.
#getMore { display: none !important; } If it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, it must be a dinosaur.
not a bad idea actually. since the personas aren't supported in our themes, we should not show that to users while using our themes.
Well really... I'm just pissed off.... but if EVERBODY is pissed off... that would really make a statement.
If it walks like a duck, and talks like a duck, it must be a dinosaur.
Good idea, I'll do it
And 20 seconds later ... It's hided Hi,
i have removed as well this bug in my new versions Cheers I have removed it from mine as well!
![]() I don't know if this is kosher but couldn't you redirect that to the themes section of AMO?
Making into a 10 day sticky. As a theme user, I have questions (probably dumb ones too).
If at the time of 3.6 release a theme is updated, but the developer did not kill the link, can the user add the code to the theme jar file himself? If yes, where? Will the theme still offer updates trough the FF automatic updating feature? Thanks, and sorry for intruding ![]()
Yes, users just add it to the userChrome.css of their Firefox profile. Just follow Section 4 of this link - viewtopic.php?p=3519925#p3519925 As well as -
...users may also like to add this, as well -
This unhides the Install button in the Addons Manager that allows you to easily install themes and extensions stored on your harddrive. It was always there and was hidden for no good reason, ages ago.

It removes only the Get Themes link. More about it: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=522571 Cheers Yes, I understood that part. That's why I was asking if I can remove the link myself on a theme.
Thanks for your reply, and for the link supplied Happy New Year to you! Sorry, Frank Lion. Must be the New Year's festivities
Thank you very much for the great help. It's appreciated. Not too late to wish you a Healthy and Happy year 2010. Thanks again Hey Frank, that's a good tip about the Install button.
