JC.

CC development stopped more than a year ago.
The best thing you can do is use Classic Theme Restorer and Classic Toolbar buttons. And minimize it further with custom CSS. (Though you can't get close to CC simply)

Recent versions of Classic theme restorer allow changing tabs height. I'm now saving as much vertical space as with CC, I think, and definitely only 1-2 px worse than LittleFox.

For those who haven't seen it, from Ken's EnvironmentalChemistry.com blog...
http://blog.environmentalchemistry.com/2008/03/firefox-theme-classic-compact.html?commentPage=3

I did put a lot of work into making Classic Compact compatible with Australius, but I could never get caught up enough with the Firefox release to release what I had.

Between the relentless pace of the rapid release cycle and changes in my personal life, I just don't have the time or energy to try and maintain Classic Compact any longer.

If I could update it once every six months or so (like before the rapid release cycle) it might be something I could keep on top of, but those days are long gone.

For the record, I still use Classic Compact, Australis has nothing on me.

Even having to change the versions in the install.rdf progressively I don't mind, it's still the best.

Install.rdf is one thing. Being broken on australis is another.
