I woudln't guess so. There were some severe problems with getting those to work perfectly with the curved bottom corners and there are many who think that the original mock-ups (being over two years old now) are completely outdated.

Odd - lots of recent mockups (in the last month for instance) have the curved tabs in the mockups. You'd think they'd use the squared off ones if the intent was to make them permanent.
I think they're more interested in my epididymis

I haven't kept up with the design discussions, but it's not unusual for mockups for one feature to be incorrect or out-of-date for other features. It's also not unusual for old designs to be brought into recent discussions especially considering how many features planned for 4.0 are still being hashed out.

Bug 659163 - Make menulists usable and useful in addon manager inline settings
Bug 633772 - Web Console cleanup: Use of inheritance to set icons on hud-msg-nodes

(Edit: please don't do any discussions on whether FF default theme will do rounded corners or not, this is about keeping track of XUL/UI/theme changes so that themers can adjust their own themes to remain compatible up with the FF releases.)

It looks like iconsize was stripped out of the toolbox element on today's nightly.

EDIT: nevermind, DOMi see's it, but my theme is just not recognizing it for some reason.

Bug 645963 - Pinstripe doesn't show bookmarks chevron when toolbar is in text mode.
Bug 654721 - Remove the orphan tab concept from Panorama
Bug 571454 - Extend the back button's clickable area to the screen edge
Bug 664436 - Implement the highlighter without an iframe
Bug 663898 - [highlighter] make sure the selected node is identifiable even on very dark and very light backgrounds.

(The last two bugs remove the recently added 'highlighter.css' and places some highlighter rules in browser.css)
(The first looked like it is only relevant for pinstripe, but it was also relevant for my themes as well)

This one broke my overlay theme Phoenix Simple which changes the color of the hover/active effect on toolbar buttons. I suspect it will also break pretty much every overlay theme or userStyle that specifically removes or alters hover/active effects on toolbar buttons. It's pretty easy to fix with a second browser.css and an appversion flag. Basically you need to take into account that the button surrounds have been moved from #back-button.toolbarbutton-1 to #back-button.toolbarbutton-1 > .toolbarbutton-icon.

https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=671553 - Remove the navigation toolbar's custom button appearance in small icons mode; invert icons on dark personas and glass

This one may also effect Lite Themes.

Edit: On second thought I think this completely kills Lite Themes dead in the water.
