yeah... I saw that... but at the same time I'm not even sure I want it up there (it's always been a possibility that I've declined from adding). Does it add any functionality? or just clutter the url bar?

It's a lot more visible than the one in the statusbar, which is why it was added - also why the RSS icon is now there. Personally, I like it. The colour of the whole bar (when on a secure site) is off, too... the yellowness is also a fairly prominent sign that you're being protected.

I dulled the color down a bit, it's been the "default" color for a while and I'm looking for something a little more acceptable with the rest of the color scheme. I'll see what I can do about moving the secure icon up there.

Hmm. I might userChrome the brightness back, I find it reassuring. Either way, the scrollbars sure need to be fixed, it's probably what's causing the following bug:

Image

1. Open Firefox and load a page that needs to scroll. Scroll all the way down.
2. Open a new tab.
3. Switch to the first tab and scroll down further (you'll notice that the scroll position is no longer at the bottom).
4. Switch to the second tab.
5. Close the second tab.
6. A black border is left at the bottom of the first page. Doesn't happen with the default theme, but scrolling up or down fixes it.

roger that.

Crisis mode at work these days, had two servers drop and a bunch of services, so maybe I'll get a weekend around wednesday and then I'll have time to fuss with it. *shakes fist*

oh and if your going to muck with userchrome and the url bar, you should try a bunch of different bright colors, takes some screenshots and email them to me. I don't mean to just "soften" the color, I'm just looking for one that fits better with the overall whitehartedness of the theme. :)

Open up the jar with Winzip or WinRAR (or any other equivalent). Rename scrollbars.css to xulscrollbars.css and re-zip it.

Those should be up and running now with the renamed scrollbars (not sure what else will be wrong though).

I think all you need is a maxVersion bump at this point. I can't spot any obvious breakages with Whitehart :)

It's up on my webpage now with a few other minor fixes (ack! just rememberd that I didn't make a new tabdrop indicator... well... next time). I've submitted it to UMO for review so that should take a couple of weeks.
