tabs get detached when download ok'd & url fave icon hit

Hi guys,

I've had this problem with my theme for a while now but finally decided to address it. What happens is that when I click OK of the download dialog or when I click the bookmark icon in the url bar to assign a bookmarked site to a specific folder, the tabs are separated (lifted up) from the main window by about 2px.
I illustrate the problem with the image.

If anyone can give me some tips how to address this I'd be very grateful. The problem does not occur with the tabs on bottom variant of the theme.

Could be anything really... whenever I had problems like this I always ended up completely rewriting my tabbrowser code from scratch to make sure I hadn't missed anything. Pinned tabs caused problems like this forever.
