To encourage theme developers to update their themes, encourage them (such as myself) with giving thanks, kudos, money, or just a nice message on how much you like the theme and would like to have it updated for the latest release. As said and discussed in this thread updating real themes (not those silly wallpaper personas) is hard work, keeping up with all the little and big changes that the Mozilla team makes.
