Help Creating First Browser Theme? "Complete Theme"

Hi all,
I'm trying to gather some information on how to a develop a complete Mozilla browser theme for SeaMonkey. I already have some fair knowledge how Mozilla Addons in general work, but I'm a bit stumped on where to start with theming. I could use a bit of help how to get started.
For those wondering, I'm trying to create a fork of the original Firefox 3 Vista/7 "Strata" visual style.
