Well, unless everyone who has a heap of images stored in PB & doesn't anti-up the $$$'s, they are going to be in the same boat, as you & I, MightyG.
They really stuffed things up, big time.

I just went through all my PB images, checked that I still had the originals, & deleted them all & closed my PB Account.

Anyone know the "external linking & embed" details of the other hosting sites?
After I did a very quick Wiki search, it appears that a lot of the hosting sites have certain rules about how long they will
keep your images..... In some...a paid Account helps in this regard.

From the PB wiki article...
As of June 30, 2017, Photobucket requires a $99 annual subscription to allow external linking to
all hosted images and a $399 annual subscription to allow the embedding of images on
third-party websites, such as personal blogs and forums.

Actually he's replaced images with a PB advert.
Giant Douche or Turd Sandwich?

@Don't forget this PhotoRacket extortionist also owns TinyPic, which works today, but has been going through some suspicious temporary 'changes' this last week.

Really?
Did you mean that they're changing ALL the linked/embedded images ever posted?

This is from your old thread you linked to...
> http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic ... 5#p9094405
&, they haven't yet got around to GBMan's stuff either... (I keep that one bookmarked.) :)

re; TinyPic...(From the Wiki article.)
One of the main criticisms people have with TinyPic is that uploaded images usually get
deleted within a few days or weeks [5] resulting in any post or website that has used
TinyPic to display a "picture not found" error message.
[edit]
This subject of hosting sites is getting rather long winded & as such should the relevant posts be split off to their own Topic?

If the member hasn't paid up my understanding is yes.

All I see on those links is the Ad instead of every image.. which is a pity as I also kept that GBM 'how to' bookmarked. :)
As for a separate thread..nah..I've already moved on and few others care...

I have an imageshack account but got a PB account as I did not like what was happening there. *SIGH* Just would like to fix the "bug" in the theme whatever it is suppose to be and dump v14.0.1 of Firefox and install v28.0 maybe v28.0.1?

[edit]did think of going to imgur but some a$$ has already registered my username there.I have been using my username for 15+ years on the net[/edit]
