pch just checked the icons in.

That sounds good. So, we can expect to see them in next nightly?

Also, I have searched the forum but haven't found real answer to this:
Why is there "Modern" and "Phoenix"?
"Modern" is completely useless, "Phoenix" would make sense if it had right image displayed (Qute one, not Netscape4-style).
Why would you even consider to use the OS that is older and more obsolete than your computer?
See, that's just one of the reasons why I pick Linux.

Yes, it'll be in the next nightly.

The "Modern" theme isn'ty really there. It's just a bug (see http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=191992 )

Hmm.. Qute 1.0 beta 5 released. Seems that Arvid forgot to update the 'History' section. As Qute's the default theme for Px, I need to know the changes made there.

I don't update the default theme directly. Anyway, good to know about for theme authors is that global/console.css has been moved to global/console/console.css and browser/bookmarks/bookmarksManager.css is added. It also has a new button for new bookmark.

They are redundant.

It's a feature, not a bug.

Arvid used this code:

Code: Select all

dialogheader {
  display: none;
}
from browser/pref/pref.css.
I think maybe it's the header of the Options dialog?

I don't see why it should be, I was under the impression that names only matter when the product is somewhat similar.

Fixed and flexible space icon distinctions

Post by MoNkaholic »

Awww this thread is no longer a sticky, how un-fun... well hopefully someone will reads this.

Visually there is no difference between a flexible space icon in Phoenix and a fixed space icon. In Chimera they address this by adding a line segment with arrows on both sides, what I'm wondering is if some sort of visual cue can be added to the flexible space icon in Phoenix so as to have it differ from that of the fixed space icon.

This is how it appears in Chimera:

I figure this is a theme issue, which is why I've posted this here.

Phoenity (by default) got the arrow for 'flexible space'. Luna displays it as dashed border line.

Are you sure? I get a blank box using the default theme on the March 24th build.

Eeep... read Phoenity as Phoenix... must've been out of it at the time :oops:
