What is funny about the first link you sent me is that it shows the icon but not the menu option in Bookmarks. That confused me as I don't use such url bar icons at all. :P

Well, it's final.

After some failed tries I submitted it to AMO and now we should wait for them to approve it.

site identity button color differences in Fx 3.6.0
Image

It looks like mozilla is planning to really screw the UI for 4.0. There will likely be more need than ever for a theme (Whitehart) to undo their "innovation."

Well, that's known since quite some time by now and caused a lot of controversy. There is also an ongoing discredit to themes and some Mozilla developers think they are useless and should be replaced. Some also think extensions are a problem for them. As if Firefox would be something without those two.

What about the identity button colors? I don't think they should be changed by a theme.

A few things with the search box:
Image
  1. it's too short, cutting off "qypgj"
  2. should have a border like other text boxes
  3. could use perhaps less left padding, looks like there's a space before the q

Identity button colors: I do as with any other part of the theme. The change was the removal of the glow effect and the clicked status change is useless for this as there is another visual indication of click there that is the popup Window. That Mozilla developers think that more than one visual indications is a good thing doesn't mean I do.

1. Should be fixed for 3.6 (this doesn't happen in 3.5.7).
2. Not in my opinion. There is too many dark lines there.
3. Should be reduced now.

the identity button is security signaling element, kind of like a traffic light, it should not be skinned. Your blue is more aquamarine and has more green than the original, objectively you want more contrast between the signaling colors, subjectively I think the original deeper colors look better. Can you at least have an option to restore original colors and effects?

al_9x, by that reasoning, you shouldn't even be using Whiteheart at all, as the default theme has colored icons (as a visual indicator) and Whiteheart has greyscale (making them invisible to the eye)..... None of my 11 themes use the same colors for the identity button as the default theme (and never have) and I've not had any complaints like this for my 11 themes over the last 9 years.

Pause and cancel buttons on an active download in the tweaked download manager not visible. Fx 3.6.0, Whitehart 3.6.6 monochrome, download manager tweak 0.9.2

That might be because Lightning isn't supported yet.

Don, bookmark icons on the BTF are slammed up tight to the bookmark text. This will fix it -

Code: Select all

 .bookmark-item > .toolbarbutton-icon {
   margin-right: 4px !important;
}

huge usopen.org favicon in the back/forward dropdown

1) fx 3.6.0, WH 3.6.7, new profile
2) go to http://www.usopen.org/
3) go back
4) drop down the back/forward button history menu

the default theme scales down the icon

Can you elaborate?
I don't want to use important! unless absolutely required, but I seem to fail to understand what you refer to.

Should be fixed for next version. The other report (addon) I need to work on it yet.
