Nowhere else in Firefox are there icons on command buttons, and nowhere else in the OS (at least on XP Pro for me) does that occur. As for the colored squares, those were from the default theme before they got changed over to the new styled icons.
I concur. I removed my images from those buttons (and the ones in Extension/Theme managers) a couple of days ago for that very same reason.

Yet keep in mind for Linux users images on OS command buttons is an entirely different matter. That option can be switched on or off, but I would guess that displaying images goes 50:50 either way. With that in mind I'm keeping my Crystal icon images on buttons. :)

The thing that got me to thinking about it in the first place is that it just occurred to me that images weren't on all the other similar buttons (in Options dialog, for example.) So, rather than creating icons for all those others, I decided on the easier path towards consistency :-)

My thoughts exactly Sailfish. :) Not to mention the fact that I'm quickly running out of available icons to use...

Whoever's in charge here can remove those embarrassing red lines surrounding my GrayModern theme in the root post of this thread. GrayModern has been updated to work with Firefox 0.9, and I hope some people will test it out and send feedback. Thanks.

For Orbit Bronze for Fx 0.9 (url will change - Jeff_pony will host the Orbit themes).
Orbit Red is being worked on.
Edit2: updated to include 0.9.0+ as max version.

I am using the GfxOasisSafari theme located at

I don't believe it's been updated as yet, but it's working fine on my 0.9. By the way, I'm looking for the Milk theme, too.

JFYI, Playground for Firefox is broken and does not appear in the Theme Manager.
