right, that's because migration code didn't work on branch. I hope you have backed up your menuedit.rdf before installing.

This should be better, although I'm not sure I've fixed everything. Please test.
(same location, that first 20050405 build was a mistake :P)

Hi asqueella, I tried out the newest version of ME (menuedit-20050406.xpi) with Ook to see if I could reproduce that disappearing Bookmarks entry in the context menu, whether you can see a reason for it or not with the newest version I was not able to cause that entry to disappear following the steps I posted to bugzilla, I tried a bunch of times (over 10) and the entry appeared each time after a Firefox restart. To see if I could cause that entry to disappear by going back to menuedit-20050330.xpi I ended up trying about 3-4 times and one of those times the Bookmarks entry was not in the context menu.

bhe2g1,
Yep, - no problem with Ook and ME 406. All's well!

asqueella,
in the previous versions, i was able to double click on an entry w/in ME options window and show/hide an entry. In the latest one (406), i have to click on the button "hide/show" - is it by default or my bad install?
BTW, i too don't see any new menus?

The new menus are Thunderbird's Go and Edit. I'm kind of afraid to make Bookmarks/Go on Firefox editable, since they are mostly generated.

bhe2g1, makondo: it's strange, but I'm glad it works. If it works, please close that bug now.

[edit]Clicks in the tree are broken, because tree code is different in trunk and 1.0, and I only tested with trunk. Will fix in a moment.

[edit2]new version is up at the same location. One byte fix. Sorry about that

in the options for ME dialog there's a problem with interface. while holding down the ctrl key and dragging the menu entry, there appears "+" sign meaning to copy the entry (like in explorer), but actually it doesn't copy - just moves.

it is not so necessary for me but it could be useful to work correct. for example, i have entry "download with reget", i place it to the top of context menu for faster access. but when i right-click in the bottom of screen, this entry would be convenient to be also at the bottom of menu.

n3w93n3: never knew about Ctrl+drag. Copying of menu items is something that is not going to be implemented soon, but you can file a bug to make sure we don't forget about it.

after installing sessionsaver2.1.27 extension there 2 strange entries appear in "edit menus" dialog > tools:

menunedit-menu_toolspopup-untitled2
menunedit-menu_toolspopup-untitled3

but they don't appear in real menu.

yet sometimes (before installing sessionsaver if you ask) in some menu-editing spaces ("file", "edit" as i remember) in "edit menus" dialog was strange dissapearing of all entries (just white empty space).
that was twice for me already.
this was easily fixed by closing options dialog and opening those file & edit menus and then again opening options dialog.

i can't reconstruct this now, but you must know.

ME is known to have some problems with SS.

Your second issue - I also experienced this once, but I have no idea what could be causing it, just at one moment calls to RDF API fail unexpectedly with a generic ("unexpected") error code.

I was having a problem with version 1.0 and Scrapbook, now it seems okay with version 1.1.20050405.
On the other hand that version will remove all the default separators :/ (I haven't carefully read the 15 other pages yet, sorry if this has been discussed)
