They make finding bookmarks so much easier that it's hard to believe.

Thanks for any help you may provide.

may be work this mod - show_parent_folder-2.0-fx+sm.xpi

It's close, it adds the column in the bookmark manager, but the column is empty.

Thanks a lot for trying though.

Paste and Go Hotkey (Keyboard Shortcut)

"Adds similar to Operas paste and go Ctrl+B hotkey (keyboard shortcut)."

Will work in SeaMonkey with the simple addition of a SeaMonkey "section" in install.rdf.

Code: Select all

   <em:targetApplication>
      <Description>
        <em:id>{92650c4d-4b8e-4d2a-b7eb-24ecf4f6b63a}</em:id>
        <em:minVersion>2.0</em:minVersion>
        <em:maxVersion>2.21</em:maxVersion>
      </Description>
   </em:targetApplication>

Two things.

One, the key combo, Ctrl+b conflicts with SeaMonkey's Bookmarks Manager shortcut.
(Paste & Go works, but Bookmarks Manager won't open from shortcut.)

Two, I had no idea what "paste & go from Opera" was/does.
It does not do what I was expecting.

I wanted something more like a paste+CR, where you could paste (something) into a dialog box & at the same time as the paste it would perform the RETURN for you.

What this does is take a "URL" that is in your clipboard & "pasting" (Ctrl+b) that (kind of anywhere) will open that URL in the current tab. Not what I was looking for.

Paste and go was as you said, just allowed you to copy a url and select Paste and Go to go to it without having to delete the current URL, paste the new one in, and press Enter.

Opera had it for a LONG time, but it's been built into SM 2.0 and FF 4.x (???) for a long time also, so it's pretty useless now.

If you are looking for something where you can paste a password into a dialog box and have it press enter when you do so - not quite the same - see "Sites Prohibit Password Saving" here - http://kb.mozillazine.org/User_name_and ... remembered

There is probably a way to write an AutoHotKey or AutoIt script to paste the contents of the clipboard and then press enter when you pressed a key combination. I'm not EXACTLY how to do it, but it seems easy if you ask on their forums.

(AMO) AutoCopy.
(Mozdev) AutoCopy
(wips.com) We create popular extensions for all internet browsers

(Mod) AutoCopy 1.0.2 has long worked & still works in SeaMonkey.

So I see there are newer versions.
1.0.8 is offered at AMO.

Changes:

Code: Select all

- add background to options
- removed statistics
- added blacklist
- all bug fixes

No big deal to me. But maybe there are efficiencies in getting current?

BUT, "removed statistics"?
Now that sounds interesting. What are these "statistics" that they've removed?
(BTW, it would appear that they are back, again.)

Компания скупает популярные расширения для Firefox
(translate) The company buys popular extensions for Firefox

So ... I'll stick with my years old version.

Came across AutoCopy 2.
Installs & works in SeaMonkey.
Fire 750, bring back 250.

Is it unpolite to repeat question for help with add-on "Send Filter 1.0.5", which stopped working with SM2.17.1, or will this be solved with upcoming new stable built?
TIA

Back to SM2.16.1 now, and happy, after 2.19 smashes pdf-downloads.

Just re-enable the Acrobat Plug-in under Tools - Add-Ons manager (unless I'm missing something ...)

The close window button on Dr. Web Link Checker now opens a new window rather than closes the small window which it uses to scan links. Also Check Places stopped working since SeaMonkey 2.19.

Hadn't noticed this, but confirmed - returns error: "TypeError: PlacesUtils.nodeIsLivemarkContainer is not a function".

Unfortunately, the developer has moved on and this doesn't look like a simple fix to me, but hopefully I'm wrong on the last item.

(It would be nice if you posted links to these extensions you're speaking of.)
