(I thought I had already posted this, but what happened? Did I forget? Or did the system reboot before I had finished?)

Tab Stats 0.0.3 modified for SeaMonkey doesn't work with the current 2.22a1 nightly, Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686 on x86_64; rv:25.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/25.0 SeaMonkey/2.22a1 ID:20130712003003 c-c:1474fbd5ab3d m-c:b44898282f21 — the about:tabs page shows just a heading, About Tabs, nothing else.

I see that the version available at AMO is 0.0.4, Firefox-only (4.0 to 25.0a1), and "preliminarily reviewed".
Best regards,
Tony

Hey people!

I've now put context_search-0.4.6-mod.xpi on my website. It should be backwards compatible with versions of SeaMonkey before 2.19 but I haven't tested it on older SeaMonkey:
http://xsidebar.mozdev.org/modifiedmisc.html#contextsearch
Context Search for Seamonkey 2.19 and above:
context_search-0.4.6-mod.xpi
Changes:
  • [fix] Compatibility with SeaMonkey 2.19 and above.
  • [fix] Compatibility with Firefox 19 and above.

ExecuteJS is a useful developer tool (since the Firefox devtools are not available in SeaMonkey) for running and testing Javascript.
http://xsidebar.mozdev.org/modifiedmisc.html#executejs

Execute JS 0.2.4.1 for Seamonkey 2.19 and above:
execute_js-0.2.4.1-mod.xpi

Fixes: Removed dependency on E4X (Removed from Gecko).

ExecuteJS was using E4X to save and restore command history. The Mozilla developers killed E4X so ExecuteJS went Pear Shaped. I've rewritten the code so as not to rely on E4X but haven't tested it extensively.

Here's about:robots ported from Firefox. Install then type about:robots in the location bar.

AMO: Copy as HTML Link 3.2

Mod'd for SeaMonkey.
Added seamonkey section to install.rdf.
Added correct overlay to chrome.manifest.

Link: copy_as_html_link-3.2-fx+MOD.4.SM.xpi

The context menu item is offset weirdly, affects nothing. Maybe I'll figure it out & update?

(Oh, BTW, I used Copy URL+ to create the above, & this, link ;-).)

AMO: Permit Cookies 2 1.0.1

Mod'd for SeaMonkey.
Added seamonkey section to install.rdf.
Added correct overlay to chrome.manifest.

Link: permit_cookies_2-1.0.1-fx+MOD.4.SM.xpi

You'll need to drag the icon out from the Customize menu.
UI opens, otherwise I really haven't tested it.

Can someone please take a look at this add on and see if they can make it work with SeaMonkey:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefo ... k-checker/

It's been improved quite a bit and the old one doesn't work right anymore. When you click the close button on the link checker window, it opens a new window instead of closing the little one.

It would be much appreciated if you can fix it.

Same thing happens in FF22, so looks like it is something for Dr.Web to fix!

Doesn't happen to mine. Are you using the new version?

Dr.Web LinkChecker 3.2.3?

Yes, DrW 3.2.3, FF22.
Install, right-click a link to an exe (I used http://www.7-zip.org/), 'Check with Dr. Web', its window opens & says CLEAN.
Click 'Close' button for its window & a new browser window opens.

Ah, extension conflict... NoScript.
If NoScript is installed, behavior noted ensues.

Then in that case, 3.2.3 will work just as will in SeaMonkey.
All that is needed is a SeaMonkey section in install.rdf.

Code: Select all
   <!-- SeaMonkey -->
   <em:targetApplication>
      <Description>
        <em:id>{92650c4d-4b8e-4d2a-b7eb-24ecf4f6b63a}</em:id>
        <em:minVersion>2.0</em:minVersion>
        <em:maxVersion>2.22</em:maxVersion>
      </Description>
   </em:targetApplication>

Copy that code into install.rdf.
You can put it just below the entry for FF.

With that, it will install & run in SeaMonkey.
(Not sure what the licensing is, otherwise I'd post it.)

NoScript Conflict with Dr. Web LinkChecker

The link you provided to the NoScript forum explains why I wasn't seeing the behavior. I had added that site to exceptions a long time ago when the close button wouldn't close the small window.

If I'm not too inept. I'll put that into install.rdf and install the extension in SeaMonkey. I assume the file doesn't exist, right?

Never mind, I'll figure it out when I open up the file.

And thanks a lot for providing that info!

[added]

Hmm, got it installed, but I'm not getting the pop up window. I've evidently got a conflict with another extension.

[second edit]

Heh, not only that, it's knocked out all my status bar icons except for adblock plus too!

I gotta check this out...
