Hello, i am not sure where to post this.

I am looking for an extension that, when you save a file from a site, it will save the address of the page where you are saving that file from in the meta comments of the saved image. Its always useful knowing the source of your saved images.

Is this possible and would anyone be interested into developing the addon? If not, maybe someone can tell me where i could ask.
Thanks :)

A mind is a terrible thing to waste. Mine has wandered off and I'm out looking for it.

Did some more search aboutthe subject and found these..... This project would be a really impressive and viral extension, similar to Adblocks popularity.
I am puzzled how come browsers do not add the source url of the downloaded image in the first place.

If you are new, i recommend you go with Chrome. Firefox is too much behind imo. I only use it because i used it for many years.

Anyone interested in creating such an extension though?
