CuteMenus v.3 (+Iconpacks): <a href="http://adblock.mozdev.org/cutemenus/cutemenus-03-dev.xpi">Installer</a>, and <a href="http://adblock.mozdev.org/cutemenus/cutemenus.jar">jar-file</a>.

What's New: a theme-directory is installed alongside the jar. Any icon-jars or folders placed inside are automatically detected. Examples come pre-installed. Note: only the installer creates the theme-directory.
.
As before: hold shift and move in the context-menu to configure.

I played with shift and the context menu and nothing happens. Wouldn't it be more standard to show that configuration when pressing the 'options' button in the options window (why doesn't firebird use two words?)

Flexer is working on merging our branches (in some form), and the standard options-area in firebird will be addressed then.
.
I'm developing for mozilla, so I don't have this.
.
Regarding context-config: if you upgraded to this version, try deleting the xul cache, as well as chrome.rdf and overlayinfo, located in the same directory as cutemenus.jar.

They look awesome together.

Both of these should make their way to the trunk asap.

I didn't upgrade, but where's the xul cache? I will delete and try this shift+context menu to change icons...

Can I add icons to items without them?

it's great! but it works only on my pop-up context menus but not the menus in the toolbar...

is it because of my local language version (trad. chinese) of firebird? or my old windows ME?

thanks

Same here. I am using the original Cutemenus and I do not have any icons for the bookmark toolbar context menus.

CuteMenus v.3.1 (+OfficeXP Skin): <a href="http://adblock.mozdev.org/cutemenus/cutemenus-03-dev.xpi">Installer</a>, and <a href="http://adblock.mozdev.org/cutemenus/cutemenus.jar">jar-file</a>.

What's New: all menus are wrapped in Nexx's OfficeXP skin. For theme-designers: a theme-directory is installed with the jar. Any icon-jars or folders placed inside are automatically detected.
.
As before: pop the context-menu, then hold shift and move to configure.

i have tested. it can't work on firebird 0.7 trad. chinese version, neither mozilla 1.4 trad. chinese version. but it work well on the english version of firebird 0.7, 0.7+, and mozilla 1.6a. so i think the problem is my local language package.

but you use the english firebird!!?? i don't know how to explain that...

any idea??

Hemiola:
Oh, actually that's easily explained: many menuitems don't have id's, so CuteMenus looks at labels to apply the correct icon.
.
To handle this across languages, all possible labels have to be accounted for. Right now, it's just english.

Do the devs know this/ have they been requested in the IDs sticky?

I use moz1.3.1 WaMCom, so future-development isn't something I try to steer.
.
If ids ever appear, I'll just wrap-in code to use them.
