Gestures over images work perfectly for me (w. Phoenix).
Are you sure you mean images and not flash/shockwave movies? That's where gestures don't work (for me), neither with Phoenix/Moz nor with Opera.

i think gestures on images work only with right click (or maybe even middle click?)

but i don't think they work with left click.

btw, there's a LOT of reason why no one should be using mouse gestures with left click.

I use left-click.

I just can't get it to work with right-click. Is there a fool-proof procedure to this? (I've read some threads on this, but the suggestions never worked for me )

That was the only thing I hadn't tried (I guess I lost my way in all the topics concerning this issue ).

The "make gestures over pictures"-problem is now also fixed
