I know the feeling. Now that I've got Ubuntu Feisty running after upgrading a week ago with some big problems to fix (thanks for upgrading during the beta phase) I felt it was time to try to resolves some other issues. The LCD Clock in Tb2 came up on my list today when I saw this post.

Timing. You've gotta love it.

I was just thankful that Premier created a working version for Thunderbird 2. I love LCD Clock, but was disappointed when version 3 didn't allow for gradients for the background. Great addition to both FF and TB, though.

Yep. A must have extension for me, especially since I often cover up my clock screenlet and otherwise can't see the time. I guess old radio habits die hard.

Don't mention it.
Thanks.

I am also the same thought.
The reason why LCD Clock 0.3.1 and 0.4.2 cannot be used with Thunderbird is that canvas element is not supported.
If canvas is enable community build, it is possible.

.mozconfig
# Enable Canvas Support
ac_add_options --enable-canvas

The following image is an example of canvas-enable community build of Thunderbird
2.0 + LCD Clock v0.4.2. ( It is very beautiful! )

Does this mean that v0.3 or 0.4 will work with Thunderbird 2.0?

Forgive my ignorance, but how can I tell if canvas is enabled?
