Sorry tab browsing extensions like Tab Kit that did deeply into the tabbrowser implementation are almost impossible to port.

http://xsidebar.mozdev.org/modifiedmisc.html#duplicatetab

I've updated Duplicate Tab to 1.0.2. Again it's just a simple version bump but I'm including it here to reduce the angst for people who might not be knowledgeable enough to bump the maxVersion safely.

Install Duplicate Tab 1.0.2 for SeaMonkey 2.0:
duplicate_tab-1.0.2-bump.xpi

Note: Might clash with the internal duplicate tab functions in SeaMonkey 2.1b1 that I added recently. So use with caution on trunk builds.

Some time back Prognathous modded Tab Clicking Options to work in SeaMonkey 2.0.* I've added this mod to my website to make it easier for people to find it and to download it:
Image

Tab Clicking Options let's you select an action to perform with different clicking events on the tab bar or a tab in Firefox and in Mozilla Suite. The events you can assign an action to are:
  • Double clicking
  • Clicking with middle mouse button
  • Left clicking with control-key (or meta-key on Mac) pressed
  • Left clicking with alt-key pressed
  • Left clicking with shift-key pressed
And the actions which you can choose from are:
  • Open a new tab
  • Reload the tab
  • Reload all tabs
  • Close tab
  • Close other tabs
  • Close all tabs
  • Duplicate Tab
  • Duplicate Tab in New Window
  • Undo Close Tab
  • Bookmark Tab
  • Bookmark All Tabs (not in Firefox 1.0)
  • No Action
Install Tab Clicking Options 0.6.9 for SeaMonkey 2.0:
tabclickingoptions-0.6.9-bump.xpi
This Mod contributed by Prognathous

I looked at porting the Open Search version of Context Search and realized that the reason that it didn't work in SeaMonkey 2.1b1 which has the Open Search engine was that we still need to port Bug 553459 (Deal with saved POST data in functions loading entries e.g. from places).

I could spend some time working around these problems but I think if I fixed the bug in SeaMonkey then this would make porting other Open Search extensions to SeaMonkey easier (and I'd have to fix this code once only). So a bit of delay yet.

In addition to Duplicate Tab, whose latest update dates from 2008-06-10 and which boasts support of SeaMonkey 1.1 to 2.0a1pre, there is now also Duplicate This Tab, which boasts support of SeaMonkey 1.1 to 2.1b1 (and of Firefox 1.5 to 4.0b8pre) and whose blurb says it is "a port of the popular Duplicate Tab add-on, which is no longer supported by that add-on's developer." AFAICT, it works with current Sm 2.1b2pre nightlies if the compatibility check is overridden; however, it is a different extension, with a different ID, and SeaMonkey (or Firefox) will not regard it as an "update" to the older one.

xed asked for Vacuum Places Improved to be ported to SeaMonkey, so here it is:
http://xsidebar.mozdev.org/modifiedmisc.html#vacuumplacesimproved
All that I did was to add SeaMonkey compatibility information to install.rdf and then add one line in chrome.manifest to overlay chrome://navigator/content/navigator.xul

Vacuum Places Improved Defragments your Firefox "Places" database (history/bookmarks). This greatly reduces the lag while typing in the address bar and the start-up time. This extension features configurable automatic cleaning, periodic reminder, and internationalization. It's possible to configure the add to auto-clean your places.sqlite every x startups or to show an icon to remember you to do the washing up yourself...

Based on Vacuum Places

Install Vacuum Places Improved for Seamonkey 2.0 and above:
vacuum_places_improved-1.1-mod.xpi

Hello,

I would appreciate if Firefox PDF plugin for Mac OS X could be compatible with SeaMonkey.

https://addons.mozilla.org/sv-SE/firefox/addon/7518/

I've tried with no success to hack the extension to work with SeaMonkey.

I tried Schubert's PDF plugin. It worked but SeaMonkey started to crash constantly.

Hello again,
No help needed. I finally managed to hack it, and now it works with SeaMonkey. :-)

OK. I've updated my port of FireForm to v0.7.4. So should be good for SeaMonkey 2.0 and the forthcoming 2.1.
http://xsidebar.mozdev.org/modifiedmisc.html#fireform

A simple yet configurable form filler. Includes support for multiple profiles and custom field names. Localized for English, Français (French), limba română (Romanian) and русский язык (Russian).

Now includes sites list management for automated filling of many forms.

I'd like to see the MonkeyMenu (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/seamon ... onkeymenu/) made compatible for SeaMonkey 2.x. Any chance that can happen?

Unlikely, as it would require a significant rewrite.

Hi Phil! :D

Could you modify these extensions to work in SeaMonkey 2.1?
CuteMenus - Crystal SVG (>>> No updated since June 20, 2008)
EmotiConverter (>>> I asked the author, but yet I haven't an answer)

Thanks!

Cheers! 8-)
