All this needs is a version bump. The extension at https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/11787/ is now marked compatible with SeaMonkey 2.0b1pre - 2.1a1pre.

If it still doesn't install from there try the install link on my modified extensions page:
http://xsidebar.mozdev.org/modifiedmisc.html#noredirect
NoRedirect lets the user take control of HTTP redirects. It can be used to interdict an ISP's DNS search redirection hijacks, preview/screen "shortened" URLs (e.g., TinyURL), stop the annoying redirection of "smart" error pages, etc. Install NoRedirect from https://addons.mozilla.org/addon/11787/. If installing from that page does not work try installing from the link below.

Can Ghostery be adapted to work with SeaMonkey?

I would try to do it myself but my peripheral neuropathy precludes me from being able to learn how via the tutorial. I just don't have the concentration needed due to constant excruciating pain.

Thank you for any information you may provide.

According to the most recent reviews (scroll down toward the bottom of the page), an ad company has purchased this extension and it has been crippled to the point of no longer working. There is a link at the Ghostery homepage to The Better Advertising Project, Inc. that bears this out. Unfortunate.

Philip --

The developer of Download Statusbar, Devon Jensen, at last word (October 2009, in a forum reply), stated that SM 2.x compatibility was very low on his priority list. However, he has made some updates to the extension, as listed in this changelog--version has been updated to 0.9.6.8; your ported version is 0.9.6.5.

Bottom line: with the changes made, is a "report" to SM 2.x of the most recent version required? Or are the changes so Firefox-specific that this isn't necessary at this juncture?

Just wondering. I know your plate is full right now, and with the ported version working flawlessly (at least for me), this could be a back-burner item. Thanks in advance for checking.

Sure I'll look into this. I do have a backlog of extensions I need to update. Also last week my notebook died so I spent half a week running around like a head-less chicken sourcing for a new one and then re-installing all my software and data. :(

AniWeather is MPL 1.1 so it should be doable.
